Lewden’s UniBox Is Ideal For Harsh Environments

LewdenUniboxLewden Palazzoli has introduced the UniBox (Universal Boxes) range of aluminium junction boxes for use in the harshest of environments.

Manufactured from aluminium alloy which is highly corrosion resistant, the back box and cover of the UniBox enclosures are treated with ecological, anti-corrosion passivation with fluoro-zirconium and then finished with hot polymerised, scratch-resistant, non-toxic polyester paint.  The watertight cover and integrated gasket guarantees the IP66/IP67 rating that ensures protection against complete, continuous submersion in water and a ‘dust tight’ seal.

The Unibox enclosures have external earth connections and are available with external dimensions ranging from 100mm x 100mm x 59mm up to 410mm x 315mm x 150mm and can be rail mounted horizontally or vertically. The operating temperature is -40ºC to +100ºC and the boxes have been engineered to conform with IEC/EN 60670-1. These lightweight enclosures have been manufactured to the highest standards to provide maximum corrosion resistance and high impact strength.
